Lavarone - a wide area characterized by pastures and wavy meadows which had been theatre of hard bloody battles during the First World War - is located at 1170 metres of altitude, near the city of Trento, in the north of Italy, as you can see from the map.
We suggest you to fly to Venice (Marco Polo or Treviso), Verona Catullo or Milan (Malpensa, Linate, and Bergamo Orio al Serio) Airport. Ryanair, Vueling, Easyjet, and few more have cheap flights to these airports. We will organize two special All Saints direct buses to Lavarone on Friday October 28th and Saturday 29th and two on Tuesday 1st November to come back to the airports. We strongly suggest you to depart with an evening flight on Tuesday. On Friday the direct bus will leave from Milano Centrale Railway Station at 18:00, will stop at Milan Bergamo Aiport and will depart for Lavarone at 20:00. On Saturday the direct bus will leave from Venice Treviso Airport at 12:00, will stop to Venice Marco Polo Airport and will depart to Lavarone at 13:00. The two buses on Tuesday will leave around 13:30. Anyway contact with us for more info about the prices, the meeting point and the final schedule of the buses.
If you plan to arrive on a different day or you wish to use a different airport, contact us and we will help you to get to Lavarone as best we can.
Please note that for organizational reasons the seat on the bus must be booked via e-mail to allsaintsmodholiday@yahoo.it before October 17th 2011.
The Rovereto railway station is the nearest to Lavarone. From there you can use a local bus or we can fix a taxi for you. A taxi is around 35 euros.
From Brennero A22 highway:
Exit Rovereto Nord, SS 12 to Calliano, then the SS 350 Valdastico (28 km)
Exit Trento Centro, then take the SS 349 of Fricca, (30 km)
Follow the indication to Vicenza-Carbonare-Lavarone. When you are in Carbonare follow for Lavarone for about 3 km till you'll find the indications to Bertoldi. Turn left and after 2 KM you'll see the Disco Pub Bowling Club Il Triangolo, our venue, on the left.
