All Saints Discjockeys 2009

When we choose the Djs for the All Saints weekender, our policy has always been to book some well known international Djs and some Djs that never played their records in Italy before. We think and hope that this can guarantee the quality of the music we will hear and give the audience the possibility to discover some new musical gems and to know and appreciate different musical tastes and Dj styles. Let’s have a look to the line up of the 17th edition...

Mark ForrestMARK FORREST (BERLIN - GERMANY)
First time in Italy!

Mark started to dream in Op art but since 1984 his only musical satisfaction was to be found in the black sounds of the Sixties. Never being satisfied with what the Berlin nightlife had to offer back in the day, he soon started deejaying at a Mod New Year’s Eve party in 1986. Since then he has done several radio shows, fanzines, released four records and did countless Hip City Soul Club nights in Berlin since 1990. Over the years, he played his records all over Germany, England, Sweden and Norway. Mark is a well known name on the scene and we are really looking forward to his sets. It will be a real pleasure to dance to his soul gems and his r&b shots in Lavarone! As he said "gimme two blocks line 'cause baby it's r&b time"..
Five records he might be playing at All Saints are:
James Wesley Smith “Talking About Women”
Charles Burns “I Love My Baby”
Mc Ghees C/UP
Mc Ghees Prelude
Gene Middleton “You Can Get It Now”
Barbara Hall ”Big Man”
