| When we choose the Djs for the All Saints weekender, our policy has always been to book some well known international Djs and some Djs that never played their records in Italy before. We think and hope that this can guarantee the quality of the music we will hear and give the audience the possibility to discover some new musical gems and to know and appreciate different musical tastes and Dj styles. Let’s have a look at the line up of the 18th edition... |
Eze Rios (Seville – Spain)

Eze is in the Mod scene since 1985 and is a well known name in the Spanish scene. In the last ten years he has been djing in almost all the Spanish towns, mod clubs and weekenders. He was behind the All Mod Club in Seville and other parties and besides editing some fanzines, he also compiled the first volume of Neurotic Reactions (the second volume should be ready soon...). He likes a broad range of musical sounds, but in particular he likes blue eyed soul and freakbeat that he uses to mix with 60 garage and Rhythm & Blues. Mr Blowfish (Berlin – Germany)
1st Time in Italy
Wolfy, aka Mr. Blowfish is the third dj that will be djing for the first time in Italy. He remembers watching the German tele series Beat Club with his mom in the late 60s not knowing that these sounds would later become the greatest obsession of his life. Of course he had to revolt against parents and establishment by declaring Punk Rock of the 70s the greatest thing that ever happened to music only to find out later that his mom was right when she said that Jerry Lee was more a rebel than the Sex Pistols. Anyway after punk rock died he found his way back to the sound of the 60s via bands like the Chesterfield Kings, Cheepskates, Lyres..etc..From 1986 to 1999 he had different shows in the radio celebrating the 60s Sound Spectrum. For about 10 years now he organizes club nights in Berlin and once a year the Berlin Beat Explosion. He loves many styles from R&B, Soul, Beat, Garage up to some psych gems. His faves change every day, right now he’s deep into Garage. He might play some of these:
Dirty Wurds – Why
Huns – Winning Ticket
Jack Bedient – Glimmer Sunshine
Vaqueros – Growing Pains
Human Expression – Calm me down
Alan Handscombe (London – England)
Alan has been Djing since the early 80’s in such influential club like Le Beat Route in Soho (a great basement bar club playing club soul and Motown on a Thursday night he recalls) and Sneakers. Then he started running his own nights playing a mixture of Jamaican sounds, 60’s soul and R&B trying to do a club in every dark dingy basement bar in central London. Alan made his first set at 100 Club in 1986, and over the years he become resident dj at some of the most famous and influential club in London in the past decade: Soulful Shack, Capitol Soul Club, These Old Shoes and Reggae Shack. Besides djing, he was among the compilers of the Mod Reggae volumes on Trojan records released some years ago. It is for us a real pleasure to have him as our guest for this edition and we are looking forward to his sets. Expect to hear a sublime selection of soul, Motown, R&B, Jamaican ska and skinhead reggae. For dancers only! Some tunes he might play are:
