BRIAN AUGER & THE TRINITY FEATURING SAVANNA GRACE (UK)

For over forty years, Brian Auger has been a musician’s musician with one of the most varied careers in music and he should not need any introduction. The keyboard king is probably the most important artists to play live at the All Saints Weekender and we are particularly proud to have him as our guest for this edition. Actually Brian Auger has played live several times in Italy, but he has never done it at a Mod Weekender.
Brian Auger’s unique musical career started at a very early age, when he began to play the piano, hearing his older brother record collection and fascinated with the various jazz piano men that were making an impact on jazz: Oscar Petersen, Hampton Hawes, Victor Feldman, Red Garland, as well as McCoy Tyner and Herbie Hancock. After winning the Melody Maker jazz poll in 1964, in 1965 - when he heard Jimmy Smith albums - he decided to get involved with a Hammond B3, an organ few British musicians could play, largely because the bulky organs were virtually non-existent in England. The rest is history and legend. The work with the Yardbirds, the formation of the Steampacket, Long John Baldry, Rod Stewart, Julie Driscoll, the Mod Years, the Trinity, the Oblivion Express. A big list of stand out hits over the years, a large discography, Black Cat, Fool Killer, Indian Rope Man, I wanna take you higher, Listen here, Tiger, and This Wheel’s on Fire. Jazz, Motown, early British pop, R&B, soul... He will be onstage on Monday 31st October, at the disco Il Triangolo, in the afternoon, and he will be backed by the gritty all out rocking vocals of his daughter Savannah Grace. We are really looking forward to this concert in Lavarone, an experience not to be missed!

Be there or be square!
